At the Berlin Motor Show in February 1935, Auto Union presented a more powerful and in many ways upgraded version of the Audi Front. The new model was now equipped with the 50 hp 2.3-litre Wanderer 6-cylinder engine that had been launched that year. The Cabriolets with a body manufactured by the company Gläser in Dresden were available in a four-window and a two-window version. The latter was also popularly designated Sport Cabriolet.
