The takeover by FIAT of the NSU automobile division and of the Heilbronn branch plant was followed by a period of close cooperation. For the first German 6-cylinder model in its class, this secured production until 1931. By 1930 1,000 of the 1,400 vehicles of this model built had been sold to the company "Kraftag" in Berlin, where the vehicle dominated the image of the city in its role as a taxi.
