Horch 8, Type 375 Pullman saloon, 1930



In the autumn of 1929, the first Horch 375 left the factory halls in Zwi¬ckau¬. The body design was inspired by American models and design by Prof. Oskar H. W. Hadank of Berlin. The body was built by the Horch coachmaking department. Prominent exterior features were the three-section bumpers, wheel trims (used for the first time by Horch), the folding luggage rack at the rear (patented by Horch), large headlights supplied by Zeiss in Jena and a new hood ornament – the winged globe (designed by Prof. Ernst Böhm of Berlin).
