NSU 5/15 hp automobile, 1914

Shortly before the outbreak of the First World War, the new 5 tax-hp car appeared with power increased to 15 hp. The 5/15 hp became one of the most popular cars of its time on account of its reliability, power and versatility, yet it was affordable in both procurement and operating costs. The vehicle was also employed by the German army for the ordinance and fortification services. From 1921, the 5/15 hp formed the cornerstone of post-war automobile production.
