The Wanderer W 10 was first presented in December 1925. It was a modern midsize class car with all the new features of automobile technology. For the first time, Wanderer employed left-hand drive, centre gearshift, multi-plate dry clutch, 4-wheel brake system and a closed engine/gearbox block. With the W 10/I, the Wanderer factory in Chemnitz took its first step towards the middle class. The open-top touring car (Phaeton) was built by the factory's own coachmaker.
