The NSU 5/25 hp was the last development based on the 5 hp compact car model series that had been produced since 1910. The original was known as the 5/10 hp. Continuous further development had made the 5 hp car a bestseller. Increased power of 25 hp, stretching the chassis and the 4-wheel brakes made the vehicle a modern and comfortable touring car.
